The different styles I have tried over the years are part of my effort to become versatile as an artist and define my own personal style. The way to find one's style is to paint incessantly. Eventually the artist finds what he likes to paint the most and how he likes to paint.
This defines what art merchants, critics, spectators and investors call "style" - as Picasso would say: "When we [Picasso and Braque] did cubism, we had no idea that we were doing cubism, we were expressing what was inside us."
